Early Fun Friday: Black Friday Must-Buy Books
I’m a pretty relaxed reader and busy mom so I never read as much as I’d like. I made it my mission to read more books this year, and I’ve been doing fairly well. Here are some of my faves so far. Be sure to add them to your gift list this holiday season.
HUNTER by KC Blake. I had the opportunity to review an advance copy of this novel. To say it is action-packed is an understatement. It’s the story of Bay-Lee, trained as one of the Van Helsing family to fight the monsters of the Spirit Realm. This is the second book in the Order of the Spirit Realm series, the first one is called Bait.
PRINCE OF WOLVES by Quinn Loftis. It was so easy to get pulled into this world of werewolves and a curious teenage girl. You know me, I always love a story about a strong girl and this one has that in spades.
OBSIDIAN by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Yes, I too fell in love with Daemon. He’s a gorgeous, cocky, stubborn alien. How could I not fall in love with him?
ANEW by Chelsea Fine. In fact, I flew through the whole Archers of Avalon trilogy. Again, it’s a story with a very strong female lead. Scarlet is a girl who dies over and over again of a broken heart…literally.
WITCH HEARTS by Liz Long. Creeped me out! Yet, as scary and suspenseful as it was, there were also points that made me howl with laughter. Good fun.
Also, if you or someone on your Christmas list is making a New Year’s resolution to finally publish that book that’s been taking up space on the computer, I highly recommend THE INDIE AUTHOR GUIDE: A SELF-PUBLISHER’S TOOLBOX by Heather Hildenbrand.
