Unfurl Tour Stops Here Thursday

When Cidney asked if I’d like to host a stop on her official Blog Tour for Unfurl, I was a little embarrassed. You see, the first two books in her trilogy had been on my TBR list for some time. The premise, a girl who carries a rare strain of a disease that gives her the ability to turn invisible, seemed really cool and right up my alley.

So, instead of admitting my neglect (I hate doing that), I picked up the first book, Rippler. I finished it in three days. I picked up the second, this time I was done in two days. Then I moved on to the third, which I finished in a day and a half. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten through a whole series that fast, but I couldn’t put them down. It has tons to love- a good mystery, a strong female lead, a great supporting cast, a dash of teen romance, and an unexpected tie to the real world.

I was originally scheduled to do a character interview; however, Unfurl inspired me with a great scene where Sam’s step-mom, Sylvia, plans a “Groundhog Day Eve Party” to cheer her up. I LOVE GROUNDHOG DAY and if you do too, check back here on Thursday the 26th when Sylvia will guest post her Groundhog Day Party tips with us.

In the meantime, check out Unfurl by Cidney Swanson, the third installment in the Rippler series.

And teens, grades 9-12, don’t forget to nominate Of Sun & Moon for the Teen Buckeye Book Award. Nomination deadline is March 10.
